WHAT’S AWESOME:

• Life-proof.
• Lightweight.
• Extremely Packable.
• Low cost. A tremendous value and convenience for under $40.
• The sound. This sucker BOOMS and sounds great. Feels magical in the middle of nowhere to be able to have a dance party like this.

WHAT SUCKS:

• The battery. Depletes very quickly when just being stored, so even if you charge it full it may be empty if you haven’t used it for a week.
• No auto-off, so you have to remember to turn it off or the battery will deplete itself even faster.
• The MSRP of $89.99 is definitely inflated. I could see this costing about $40 on the high end.

BOTTOMLINE:

This thing is incredible for those that travel far and wide on assignments or for inspiration. Surprisingly small, lightweight, loud, and practically waterproof. Placing this in a corner kicks up rather impressive bass for something so diminutive and easy to throw into your camera bag, coat pocket, or purse.

WHY GET IT:

Music is the universal language, and as creators of visual content having the ability to share movies, music and project ideas quickly, easily and impressively can make or break impromptu shoots and client meetings when you least expect it. Moreover, adventure trekking is hard work so being able to break something like this out and soothe everybody’s sore legs with 12 hours of Christmas music on a deep backwoods trail in December is priceless in terms of the memories and creative opportunities it creates. Worth every penny paid, and more.
