If I was buying a travel camera today it would be between this and Fujifilm’s X-T1, depending entirely on budget constraints. The best image quality you can get short of medium format cameras costing WAY more. The backlit sensor performs better than anything out there for still images in good and poor lighting, and creates stunning 4k video at a VERY competitive price point. Articulated screen and improved focusing are a delight for photographers and videographers alike, and especially for hybrid image capturers like myself. Beautiful looking, handling and exceptionally small and portable for any camera type – the fact that the imaging sensor is full frame makes it that much more impressive. This is a tool that really allows you to leave all the other gear at home.
